The SOURCE Consortium: Immigrant Children and Trauma

Join us for The SOURCE Consortium on August 25th from 11 AM –1 PM at the Elkhart Health & Aquatics Center where Saulo Padilla will be leading us in an exploration of the impact of migration on children. Saulo brings his professional expertise and lived experience to this topic.There will be opportunity for questions anddiscussion. Lunch will be provided.

Participants will understand the implications of trauma on immigrant children's well-being by: 

• Identifying ways immigration affects children; 
• Defining immigrant trauma and resilience;
• Exploring strategies to help immigrant children heal and thrive.
