MNCASA Membership Discussion: Let's Talk SAAM

Sexual Assault Awareness Month 2019 is fast approaching. Whether you’re using tools from NSVRC’s national campaign, I Ask, or creating your own, join fellow MNCASA members to share your plans, find support, and exchange ideas to enhance community SAAM events across Minnesota.

This is a MNCASA members only event. You will need a password to log in, which will be sent to current members prior to the call.

Facilitators
Megan McKinnon, Membership Services Specialist

Megan has held several roles since at MNCASA since joining the staff in 2007: Office and Systems Manager, Communications and Resource Design Specialist, and, most recently, Membership Services Specialist. In each role, Megan has worked to make sure MNCASA members and allies have access to the information, trainings, and resources they need. As Membership Services Specialist, Megan works to support current members and grow MNCASA’s membership to better reflect communities throughout Minnesota. She is committed to making MNCASA accessible to all members and allies, whether they’ve been in the movement for 20+ years or one day.

Adrianna Perez, Prevention Program Coordinator
Adrianna has experience as a shelter advocate and youth advocate, where she developed skills for crisis intervention, support group facilitation, trauma informed care, and educating about healthy/unhealthy relationships. Adrianna’s time in direct service encouraged her to focus on prevention and community-level change. As the Prevention Program Coordinator, her goal is to make prevention work accessible and doable for everyone to play their part in it. She believes that by working and coming together, we can change our cultural norms and prevent many forms of violence. Her passion for this work is inspired by community building, creative thinking about strategies of change, and providing education.
