AN INTERACTIVE CONFERENCE

This unique professional learning event will mix face-to-face and virtual components to bring the experts to you and personalize the learning to your needs and interests.
In the morning, Nancy Frey and Douglas Fisher will work with the group virtually, as we learn how culture, purpose and structured teaching lead to true student learning.They will draw on the work from their 2nd edition best seller, Better Learning Through Structured Teaching.
In the afternoon, participants will have an opportunity to strategize how to effectively apply the learning back in their classrooms, schools, or districts. Teams or individuals will choose a topic of work that connects to the morning session and is relevant to their daily work.
The day's content will support educators as we continue to implement proficiency-based learning in Maine schools. Join us for an energizing day of both virtual and live professional learning!
