Youth and young adults (between the ages of 13 through 30) with mental health needs and youth and young adults who want to be leaders in their community
Youth MOVE Virginia is a contractual agreement between the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS) and NAMI Virginia for youth and young adults.

at the Family and Youth Leadership Summit
Youth M.O.V.E. (Motivating Others through Voices of Experience) Virginia aims to engage youth and young adults who have experience in a number of different systems including: mental health, juvenile justice, child welfare, education and substance abuse/recovery. Youth M.O.V.E. Virginia promotes the idea of the youth voice while empowering young people to share their story!
The Youth/Young Adult Track is free to attend; registration includes meals and refreshments.
The majority of scholarships have been provided, however if you are traveling from over 2 hours away, and the distance is a major obstacle for you, please reach out, we may be able to assist.
