The Virginia Family Network Presents

HopeVoice

A Digital Storytelling Workshop for Youth who personally have a mental health condition or who have a parent or sibling with a mental health condition.

Do you or a family member have a mental health condition?

Would you like to meet other teens who also have experience with a mental health condition or have a family member with a mental health condition?

Would you like the opportunity to talk about your experiences with other teens like you?

Teens, ages 12-18, who have a family member with a mental health condition or have personal experience with a mental health condition, will have the opportunity to learn how to tell their stories using digital media, including video, photography and other outlets.  The workshop will be led by two young adults who have been affected by a mental health condition, and they created this workshop with the understanding that this group needs a voice and an opportunity to share their stories with other teens like them.

Dinner will be served.  Cost is free!!
