The Alameda County Sheriff's Office and Dublin Police Services are proud to announce their official partnership with the Pink Patch Project. The goal of the Pink Patch Project is to raise funds for further research, treatment and care of those who are battling or have battled breast cancer.
The program centers on vibrant pink versions of the public safety agency's uniform patch. These bright pink patches have been specially designed by each participating agency specifically for the Pink Patch Project campaign. Alameda County Sheriff's Deputies and Dublin Police Officers will have the option to wear these pink patches on their regular uniforms for the entire month of October during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The pink patches are designed to bring attention to the fight against breast cancer and to support breast cancer research organizations in combating this devastating disease. In addition we hope to encourage public awareness about the importance of early detection and the on-going fight against this disease.
