James Madison University’s College of Integrated Science and Engineering, Outreach and Engagement, and The Center for STEM Education, are pleased to bring you the Third Annual STEM Educator's Workshop on Friday, February 26, 2016.   

This year is DIFFERENT. We will focus on providing elementary, middle, and home school educators with hands on activities and resources that they can bring back to the classroom. Please REVIEW the session information below carefully prior to registering.

*NOTE: The K-6 and the Middle School Tracks will run concurrently.  You may only sign up for ONE track.

MIDDLE SCHOOL CYBER LITERACY/SECURITY TRACK (NOTE: SESSION HAS BEEN CANCELLED.)

On Friday, February 5, NICERC representatives contacted James Madison University to officially cancel their commitment to present a Middle School Cyber Security / Cyber Literacy event. We apologize for any inconvenience that this late development has caused.  JMU will issue refunds to all paid cyber program registrants.

Look for feature Middle School programming at our 2017 STEM Workshop coming next February!

 

STEM BONUS ROUND - MINI SESSIONS

Stay all day or join us at 3 p.m. for light refreshments, poster session and a STEM Bonus Round. 

During this mini STEM session, participants will have the opportunity to learn about the newest STEM technologies, get example lessons, network, hear tips from teachers, and find out how STEM education is working for schools in the area. This event promises to be a fun and hands on experience! STEM door prizes will be included!

TWO PART REGISTRATION

Please register below. WIthin seven days of your registration, a payment link will be sent in a separate confirmation email. The cost is $15.00 per person and includes breakfast, lunch, and a light reception. Your registration is not final until payment is received.

CANCELLATION POLICY

We will honor cancellation requests with a refund of $12.50 until February 15, 2016.
