Local Presidents' Training
Are you a new or experienced local president? Do you need more information about how to make your local strong? Are you curious about the challenges facing public education and how you and your members can effectively respond? If so, this opportunity is for you.
On Thursday, July 21 and Friday, July 22, 2016, KEA will offer training for local presidents. The event will be held at the Hilton Lexington Suites, 245 Lexington Green Circle, Lexington, KY. Training will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday and will end by 4:00 p.m. on Friday. View the meeting program here.
KEA will pay for one hotel room and will reimburse mileage for one president from each local. If there are co-presidents for a local association, KEA will only cover the cost for one president to attend. Breakfast and lunch will be provided on Friday, July 22. Overnight accommodations for Thursday, July 21 are available at the training site. If you need a room for Thursday night, please indicate that on your registration form.
