FILLING THE WORKFORCE: Partnerships with Maine’s community colleges

What will it take to fill the new Workforce? Partnerships will be key, as we prepare a new generation for work and leadership in Maine’s construction and transportation industries.
Washington County Community College Dean of Academic Affairs Alex Clifford will be our guest and talk about how business can partner with the state’s community college system to identify and support students who will thrive in our industries. Dean Clifford joined Washington County Community College in 2014.
A professor of business at Kennebec Valley Community College (KVCC), he has served as Command Staff Sergeant Major for the Maine Army National Guard for 27 years. He is a graduate of KVCC and holds an MBA from Thomas College. He is a Ph.D. candidate at Walden University.
