Please join MBTA for our annual Aroostook County Meeting. Our guest speaker will be Dr. Linda Schott, who became the 11th president of the University of Maine at Presque Isle on July 1, 2012. Her path to Maine has taken her from a cattle ranch in the Texas Hill Country, where she grew up, to various universities throughout the southern, Midwestern and western United States. Her experiences have shaped her passion in both the value of a college degree and the importance of meeting the wide-ranging needs of younger and older adults alike, as they strive to attain their chosen career. President Schott will discuss the University’s Role in Preparing a Work Force for the 21st Century.
