STEWARDSHIP: Inspire! Ask! Thank!     APRIL 16, 2016

Preparing for your parish's financial stewardship focus needs to begin early in the year! That is why you are invited to STEWARDSHIP: Inspire! Ask! Thank! on April 16, 2016. We begin with an inspiring talk about God's abundance with our Bishop Melissa's talk and then the focus is on Inspiring, Asking and Thanking in plenaries and workshops throughout the day. Dean Peter Elliott will help us get started by asking us to  understand the relationships between inspiration, asking and thanking.

Breaking into three streams, there are workshops on ways to inspire, preparing to ask and thanking in the context of the church life we all share. Workshop topics include:

• communications
• databases
• outreach and ministry
• gift raising skills
• personal thank yous
• being community
• asking for gifts
• stewardship with children
  

The Rev. Dr. Richard Leggett will offer a workshop on liturgical forms of thanksgiving.

Fees include an updated stewardship manual for the 2016 year with new theme materials for the fall of the year. LUNCH is included and refreshments during breaks are provided.  Register early to avoid disappointment and to save on the cost of attendance.
