The North Dakota Board of Nursing and North Dakota Center for Nursing are excited to partner to celebrate 100 Years of Nursing Excellence in North Dakota. Join the North Dakota Board of Nursing and North Dakota Center for Nursing as we celebrate nursing's history in North Dakota in the newly expanded Heritage Center in Bismarck, ND. The conference will feature lunch in the State Capitol Great Hall, presentations, guest speakers, silent auctions, a GALA with awards and evening entertainment.

The 100 Years of nursing Excellence has been approved for 4.75 contact hours through the ND Board of Nursing.
Marcus Engel, MS
Marcus Engel is a professional speaker and best selling author whose messages provide insight and strategies for excellent patient care. His keynote presentation, “The Other End of the Stethoscope” has been witnessed by tens of thousands of health care professionals and his books are used in scores of nursing schools to teach the basic foundations of caregiving.
Dr. Constance Kalanek, PhD., RN
ND Board of Nursing Executive Director
Dr. Kalanek is the current ND Board of Nursing Executive Director. There she has given a voice to nursing across North Dakota since 1998. Previously, Dr. Kalanek served as a professior of nursing at the Medcenter One College of Nursing in Bismarck, ND.
Betty Rambur, Ph.D., RN
Professior of Nursing - University of Vermont
Originally from North Dakota, Dr. Rambur's education and career progressed from registered nurse, to nurse practiioner, and then on to two graduate degrees from Rush University in Chicago. She worked in community medicine and instutional cooperation. With a Ph.D., she began teaching at the University of Mary in Bismarck, N.D., becoming a professor and ultimately chair of the nursing division. She current serves as a professior of nursing at the Unviersity of Vermont.

Deadline for submitting your works is May 1st, 2015. Your work will be auctioned at the North Dakota Heritage Center in Bismarck, ND.
