Please see below for an announcement from the leadership of Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago, where CLOCC's March 17th meeting was scheduled to take place. We look forward to convening at a point in the near future and continuing to move the fight against childhood obesity in exciting new directions. We also respect the efforts of Lurie Children's Hospital and all of our partners to prioritize the health and well being of our community.

Dear attendees,

As Lurie Children’s leadership continues to address response and safeguards related to the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation, we have decided to increase efforts to keep our environment as safe as possible for our staff, visitors, and patients and families. As of today, we made the difficult decision to cancel events, conferences and meetings in the main hospital that involve non-employed staff until further notice.

We are continuing to work closely with the Illinois and Chicago Departments of Public Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and follow their guidance on infection control measures as they evolve. We will continue to update our policies as more information becomes available.
