Human Resources Services & Programs | VSP Global

Gail has been with VSP Global Human Resources for over 20 years. She currently oversees HR Services & Programs, which consists of the day-to-day operations of a team of Human Resources Representatives responsible for providing front-line support to VSP’s growing workforce. Her team provides consultation and resolution on transactional activities such as employee policies and programs, payroll, benefits administration, and disability management (i.e. ergonomics, leaves of absence, workers’ compensation).  Gail also oversees close to two dozen corporate programs including, Onboarding, Wellness, Business Continuity, Education Reimbursement, Rewards & Recognition, Service Awards, Employee Referrals, to name a few. HR Services is the foundational support cornerstone of VSP’s shared service to the company’s 5,000-plus workforce.

Gail is a trainer/facilitator and is sought after for her expertise in process improvement and operational efficiencies. She also serves as an Officer for VSP’s Black Heritage Employee Resource Group and a Board Member of VSP’s Political Action Committee.

Gail has an Associate Arts Degree in Legal Assisting; a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/Human Resources from California State University, Sacramento (CSUS); and a Master of Business Administration for Executives from the College of Business Administration from CSUS; and a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR). She is a former business owner of a Curves Fitness Center for Women franchise.

Gail is a Northern California native. She enjoys mentoring young people; is a BIG sports fan (Sac Kings, 49ers!); and also has done print/commercial work featured as an “over-50” lifestyle model. Gail has one son Kevron, daughter-in-law Candice, and two beautiful grandchildren – 11 year old Kayla and 4 year old Kevron Jr.
