Introduction to International Negotiations

In today's competitive and globalized business world, managers in companies large and small interact and engage with people from all over the world, often without ever leaving their desk!

In order to build key relationships, create cutting edge projects and make the deals that will take your business to the next level and allow it to thrive, you must have the knowledge, skills and awareness to negotiate with people from many different countries and cultures.

In this half-day workshop, we will introduce you to the exciting and challenging world of international negotiations.  During this interactive workshop, you will:

  • Learn how differences in cultural values impact the way people from different cultures think about and approach the process of negotiation.
  • Discuss key concepts in international negotiations.
  • Gain insights into your own negotiation style and understand the strengths and weaknesses of that style in a global context
  • Take away several key strategies and tools that will help you to better prepare for and enact negotiations with international counterparts and partners.
