LARRP Workshop - Building and Sustaining Partnerships & Collaborations

Discover the 5 keys to success!
Most public funding opportunities require that proposing organizations demonstrate the ability to fully leverage existing community resources in both the initial proposal and the fulfillment of the contract.  This usually means developing relationships with other community service providers.  But how do you do that?  What should be the nature of these relationships?  How do you ensure that the relationships last?  These and other tough questions are the focus of this workshop.

Purpose of this Workshop
The goal of this workshop is to assist potential partners in thinking through the collaborative structure and mechanisms necessary to support multi-agency, multi-service projects.

Learning Objectives
Participants will be able to:

  • Design project outcomes for clients and collaboration
  • Define the type of partners that will be invited to participate in the project
  • Describe the desired project culture and governance structure
  • Define elements of operating agreements

Workshop Leader
Peggy Edwards is the Executive Director of both Los Angeles Regional Reentry Partnership and United Homeless Healthcare Partners.  Peggy has more than twenty years of experience working with partnerships, collaborations, and service integration projects across the country in areas such as health, juvenile justice, child welfare, homeless services, and local governments.
