Due to the important role that student achievement outcomes play in the overall accreditation assessment process, ACCSC recently implemented an independent third-party employment verification requirement as part of the accreditation process.   During this session participants will have an opportunity to engage in a conversation about the expectations for institutions as they begin the independent third-party audit process, and to share ideas how institutions can use this process to facilitate further self-evaluation and improvements in operational procedures.

Dean Kendall, MHEC's Associate Director of Workforce Development
You can please all of the people some of the time, and some of the people all of the time, but you cannot please all of the people all of the time.  While all private career schools believe that they areoffering the best training programs possible at the best schools ever to exist, student complaints will always arise.  I add student complaints to death and taxes -- they are guaranteed in life.  So, itis not a matter of what to do IF a student complains, but what to do WHEN a student complains.  Is your complaint policy sufficient?  We'll consider what may or may not be sufficient as we share experiences and apply various complaint policies to them.
