Cancellation Policy
Due to rising costs and expenses generated by students who register for our courses and do not attebd without notification, it has become necessary to institute the following policy:
In order to qualify for a full refund, students (or their employing agencies) must cancel no less than two weeks prior to the commencement of the course. Cancellations must be received via email to the attention of the course coordinator. A confirmation of receipt and a cancellation number must be obtained from the coordinator. No claims will be acccepted unless the aforementioned is adhered to. cancellations made within the two week time period are subject to a $150 fee. Substitutions of students may be made at any time. Please call us immediately if you have any questions.
NOTE: NO-SHOWS (INCLUDING THOSE WHO CANCEL AFTER 3PM ON THE THURSDAY PRECEDING THE COURSE) WILL BE INVOICED THE FULL REGISTRATION FEE.
2023 HIGH PROFILE MURDER CASE SYMPOSIUM
Learn the innermost details, firsthand, from the detectives who investigated globally recognized, high profile murder cases. These detectives will provide the intricate dynamics, evidence, and specific details to their cases, which made them domestic and international headlines, for years to come. This 3-day symposium will present multiple cases which deeply resonated through their communities and shocked the world! Some of the cases to be presented at the symposium will include:
"Ted Bundy", "Scott Peterson", "Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School Shooting", and "Charles Cullen" (as seen on Netflix, "The Good Nurse").
The cost for the course is $1,100

**As a courtesy to our students, we have a pre negotiated special room rate at the InterContinental at Doral Miami, which is located at 2505 NW 87 Avenue, Doral. FL 33172. For reservations, please contact the hotel directly at 305-468-1400 or via email at reservations.miahc@R-HR.com and refer to the course name in order to obtain the special negotiated rate of $129.
*Please note there are a limited amount of rooms reserved at the special negotiated rate. Early room reservation is highly recommended. Shuttle service to the City of Doral Police Training Center can be made available upon your request directly with the hotel. Notification must be made prior to your arrival to ensure availability.
