CANCELLATION POLICY
IMPORTANT PLEASE READ
Due to rising cost and expenses generated by students who register for our courses and do not attend without notification, it has become necessary to institute the following policy:
In order to qualify for a full refund, students (or their employing agencies) must cancel no less than two weeks prior to the commencement of the course. Cancellations must be received via e-mail, and/or fax to the attention of the course coordinator. A confirmation of receipt and a cancellation number must be obtained from the coordinator. No claims will be accepted unless the aforementioned is adhered to. Cancellations made within the two week time period are subject to a $100 fee. Substitutions of students may be made at any time. Please call us immediately if you have any questions.
NOTE: NO-SHOWS (INCLUDING THOSE WHO CANCEL AFTER 3PM ON THE THURSDAY PRECEDING THE COURSE) WILL BE INVOICED THE FULL REGISTRATION FEE

 

 

UNDERWATER POLICE SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY 2016

This 2-week course is open to all levels of law enforcement officers and fire service personnel. Students must hold a current Advanced Open Water Diver rating to apply (proof required prior to course registration). The course will combine classroom instruction with practical in-water application. The   student will participate in the removal of vehicles from  lakes, rock pits,  and canals. Students will also search the hull of a freighter at the Port of Miami and participate in helocasting exercises. The student will be exposed to underwater search and recovery, underwater video and photography, underwater crime scene processing and the use of underwater lift bags. This class is eligible for salary incentive money for Florida officers; however, students must posses an Oxygen Administrator Certification(O2) to quality for salary incentive. All students must complete a Medical Statement Form.
