CANCELLATION POLICY
IMPORTANT PLEASE READ
Due to rising cost and expenses generated by students who register for our courses and do not attend without notification, it has become necessary to institute the following policy:
In order to qualify for a full refund, students (or their employing agencies) must cancel no less than two weeks prior to the commencement of the course. Cancellations must be received via e-mail, and/or fax to the attention of the course coordinator. A confirmation of receipt and a cancellation number must be obtained from the coordinator. No claims will be accepted unless the aforementioned is adhered to. Cancellations made within the two week time period are subject to a $100 fee. Substitutions of students may be made at any time. Please call us immediately if you have any questions.
NOTE: NO-SHOWS (INCLUDING THOSE WHO CANCEL AFTER 3PM ON THE THURSDAY PRECEDING THE COURSE) WILL BE INVOICED THE FULL REGISTRATION FEE

 

 

Crime Scene Investigations

This course is for both crime scene technicians and investigators, both novice and experienced. The purpose of the course is to provide extensive hands-on training for police personnel, including crime scene technicians. Crime scene technicians are specially trained to assist police personnel in criminal investigations, as well as attorneys prosecuting the case. Many topics will not only be introduced through PowerPoint lectures and handouts, but all objectives will have a hands-on component to ensure that all attendees accomplish the objectives. Your instructors, both of which are certified in crime scene investigations, have almost 40 years of combined experience and teach real world application in this hands-on workshop.

 Documenting crime scenes through photography, sketching and note taking

 Fingerprinting

 Shooting Reconstruction

 Collection of evidence

 Trace evidence detection through alternate light sources

 Shoe wear impressions, casting

 Death Investigations

 Legal aspects of criminal investigations
