• The Folk Project produces and supports this event for its members. You will save significantly by becoming a member or renewing your membership when you register.
• There are lots of activites to choose from every hour. Everybody designs their own personal Getaway.

Long Timers Want to Know This:

Our first Stony Point Getaway was great. We learned a lot from our experience and your surveys. We always do our best to make your weekend better.

• Registration is simplified. Friday dinner is included in the basic Getaway.
• Extension choices are streamlined:  (1) Pre-Getaway: Arrive Thursday afternoon. Thursday dinner and Friday breakfast and lunch are included. (2)  Post-Getaway: Stay Sunday night, Sunday dinner and Monday breakfast are included. There will be no planned activities. 
• Despite Getaway ending at 4:00 p.m., the early checkout remains, but now breakfast and checkout are one extended period, from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. Another solution: Stay through the Sunday Extension.
• Hey, Beginner Guitarists: Lessons by Loy is back. If you want a guitar lesson, approach Jeff slowly, offer him a biscuit, and do NOT make any loud noises or sudden moves. You'll probably be safe enough to schedule a lesson with our resident master teacher.
