December’s Leadership Luncheon is an opportunity for Chattanooga Women’s Leadership Institute, Women In Technology and Launchpoint Leadership to join forces and deliver an outstanding professional development session to members of both CWLI and Women in Technology on effective mentoring.  Representatives from a national movement called Million Women Mentors will join local business professionals to talk about the state of mentoring and give real tools and tips to help you be a more effective mentor.  Each participant will get a small booklet with excerpts from a mentoring tool-kit.

Panelists for this program include Dr. Judith Iriarte-Gross, professor of chemistry and director of the Women In STEM (WISTEM) Center at MTSU; Dr. Stacy Klein-Gardner , Director of the Center for STEM Education for Girls at the Harpeth Hall School in Nashville, TN; and Sue Culpepper, Director, College of Business Student Success Center at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. The panel will be moderated by Sheila Boyington, Co-founder and President of Thinking Media.
