Tier I Training and Certification Research Theory
WRESA is excited to offer the North Carolina, standards based Project GLAD Tier I training and certification. In this rigorous professional development model, participants will
- Gain a better understanding of English language development.
- Acquire research based instructional strategies to meet the cognitive, linguistic, and emotional needs of all students.
- Grasp knowledge on how to integrate content into English language development lessons.
Who is it for?
K-5 Classroom Teachers, ESL Teachers, Dual Language Teachers and EC TeachersComponent I: Research and Theory Must attend either June 26-27 or July 6-7
When: June 26-27, 2017 (7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.) Dates Full

Where: Avery's Creek Elementary School
Component II: Classroom Demonstration Must attend either July 17-20 or July 24-28.
When: July 17-20, 2017 (7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.)

Must complete both components to earn Tier I Certification and 4 CEUs.
