TITLE:  Latest and Greatest Chapter Books - Grades 3-8

This one-day workshop is designed to offer teachers a motivating selection of fiction and informational text for classroom instruction. Newly-published chapter books will be presented along with their correlated Common Core and Essential Standards (Grades 3-8). Participants will leave with five chapter books as well as ways to use them in standards implementation: integration of units, motivating reluctant readers, character education and content area instruction.  Participants will earn five hours of credit for the day with an optional additional five hours available for electronic follow-up activities.
