Amie Dean Behavior Interventions that Work (Oct 2015)
Do you have a plan for what you will do when a student doesn’t comply with your request the first time? Second time? How about the third time? Do you go home tired and exhausted from frustration? This workshop will guide you in developing a thorough, preventative plan for handling issues from low level distractions to serious/chronic behaviors. This is a practical, hands-on seminar filled with concrete steps you can take the next day to help students – and yourself. Amie Dean, national classroom management presenter, will lead this session. * DIRECTIONS TO ASHEVILLE EVENT CENTER
From I-40: Exit 51 (from either East or West), turn left onto Sweeten Creek Road, drive 0.7 miles, at the light, the Asheville Event Center will be on your right at the top of the hill.
From I-26: Take Exit 40, go East on 280 (Airport Rd), go past 25 (Hendersonville Rd), it becomes 25-A (Sweeten Creek Road), follow 6.3 miles to the Asheville Event Center which will be on your left at the stop light. The entrance is at the center of the building.
