Science Lab Safety Train the Trainer Workshop

Cost: $125 per person

In this 2-day workshop, The Science House will provide you with the knowledge base, resources, and a variety of tools to support you as you train other teachers in your school or system. OSHA regulations that affect schools (HazCom Standard CFR 1910.1200, Lab Standard CFR 1910.1450, and many others) will be discussed, and recommendations from other professional agencies on how to address those regulations will be provided.

Come prepared to create or improve upon your school science safety or Chemical Hygiene Plan. Receive free resources and information so that YOU can train other teachers in your school or science department. We will provide you with free tools including an on-line safety database of regulations and recommendations, PowerPoints to use with your teachers, and safety checklists.
