Title:  Schoolnet: Creating Assessments and; Bonus: Identity Access Management (IAM)

 

Description: This hands-on session will focus on the Assessment Admin tab in Schoolnet. We will share with you the tools you can use to “Create and Monitor” students’ progress in mastering the standards). With the use of pre-populated test banks and the ability to create your own teacher-made items, we will show you how to create and deliver classroom and/or benchmark standards-based aligned assessments.

*** BONUS*** IAM: A New Way to Access Home Base: For back-to-school 2015-16, students, teachers, staff and administrators will log on to Home Base applications (PowerSchool, Schoolnet, Educator Effectiveness and OpenClass) using the Identity and Access Management (IAM) Service. This service is one of the NCEdCloud initiatives for the K-12 community of North Carolina, funded by Race to the Top (RttT). In this one hour session, the NCEdCloud/ DPI team will demonstrate, discuss and take questions regarding this new log on service."
