Description:

This “Administrator Boot Camp” will be designed for new and aspiring school administrators who want to learn more about common legal issues that face school administrators.  Here is a draft schedule (although subject to change):

10am – 11am:    Student Discipline Investigations and Search and Seizure

11am – noon:    Special Education Law for Administrators

Noon – 12:30:    Lunch

12:30pm – 1:30pm:          Student and Employee First Amendment and Religious Rights

1:30pm -1:45pm:              Break

1:45pm – 2:45pm:            Employee Due Process

2:45pm – 3:00pm:            Questions/Overrun Time

That is 4 hours of instruction with 45 minutes for lunch and an afternoon break (with 15 minutes built-in for overrun if we need a little more time on a specific topic).
