Tying it All Together:  Reading 3D in Your Classroom – Grades K-3 (Feb 2015)

Benchmarking?  Progress monitoring?  Using data to guide instruction?  If you’re a K-3 teacher, the process can be overwhelming!  This session is designed to maximize the depth of information generated by your Reading 3D assessments, integrate the use of that data into your classroom planning and develop strategies for determining the effectiveness of your instruction.  Participants will have the opportunity to analyze student data in-depth, create targeted lesson plans based on their analysis and identify “next steps” in instructional decision-making in response to student learning. Presenter will be Kimberli McWhirter, NCDPI Region 8 K-3 Literacy Consultant.
