REGISTRATION FEE: $45

In order for teacher-based teams, also referred to as PLCs or DTs, to function optimally the members need to 1) work as a team of scholars who trust one another; 2) think more expansively about the evidence of student learning that they are analyzing; 3) respond to students’ learning needs with a host of well-researched formative practices that support students as the leaders of their own learning; and 4) examine feedback as a tool for continuous learning. Through case studies, simulations, and inquiry-based conversation, this interactive session will stretch PLCs and DTs to higher levels of performance. The presenter will be Connie Kamm from The Leadership and Learning Center. If you have questions, about the PLC sessions, contact Jan Webster, jwebster@wresa.org or 828.418.0011, ext. 21.
