In this make-it and take-it workshop you will create hands-on projects that will engage students of all abilities in literacy skills across the curriculum in a fun way. Each participant will have the opportunity to take home numerous make-it-and-take-it projects ready to use in the classroom. This session meets the NCDPI recommended content for certification renewal reading requirement with its emphasis on balanced literacy techniques and connecting reading, writing, and oral language. In this active workshop you will learn how to use hands-on projects that will help students of all abilities learn skills across the curriculum in a fun way.
