This interactive workshop provides instruction in the characteristics of students with Attention Deficit/ Hyperactivity Disorder and students with Specific Learning Disabilities in the areas of reading comprehension, decoding, written expression, math reasoning, and math calculation.  Participants will leave with a deeper understanding of characteristics and how behaviors can be misinterpreted. In-depth and engaging strategies to facilitate learning will be provided. The presenter is Kathy Bonyun a literacy coach in Buncombe County Schools.
