Calling all lovers of science!  Channel your inner Steve Spangler and be amazing as you participate in hands-on demos and activities that are sure to add excitement to your science lessons.  Spangler, best known for his engaging approach to unforgettable science experiences, is a master of wow.  Harness some of his enthusiasm and join us as we explore some of his most popular science activities. Guidance will be provided for turning demos into inquiry-based labs, linking real-world connections to simple science concepts, and relating it all to standards.  This workshop is most appropriate for K- 6 teachers.  The class will be limited to 20 participants. Your instructor will be Summer Cortinas from BioNetwork.  If you have questions, please contact her at scortinas@ncbionetwork.org.   Contact Hours: 5
