During this session we will review the new interface components, understand the concept of dependencies and container lockdown for completing Professional Development Plans and Evaluations. The North Carolina Educator Evaluation System (NCEES) process remains the same with tool enhancements based upon feedback. The online system allows employees to assign rights, complete self-assessments, Professional Development Plans, Observations, and Summative Evaluations. This session includes the demonstration of the new system with hands on capabilities using training IDs. We will discuss the new “one” career plan operation. Also, the session will cover the new plan operation for support staff including the following positions: School Psychologist, School Counselor, Media Coordinator, Instructional Facilitator, and Social Worker. We will discuss the integration of data from all sources and its impact on the updated system. Reporting will be reviewed, as well as a discussion on historical data and its visibility within and outside the system. During the last two hours (estimate) we will cover system operation as it relates to Analysis of Student Work (ASW). The session will highlight teacher entry requirements, reviewer of work operation and principal signoff. We would like all District Administrators and those responsible for ASW work in the district to attend.
