What Can Student Writing Tell You? Looking at Writing Through a New Lens
Consultants will take participants through a process to connect student writing to the standards.
This powerful professional development provides a protocol of how to look at student writing to inform instruction.
Participants will need to bring a copy of the writing standards for their grade band (k-5, 6-8, 9-12).
They will not need to bring a laptop or other device.
Time:
9:00 - 3:30
There will be 3 - 4 ELA Consultants attending each RESA.
Some districts/regions have asked for a book title that might accompany this pd for further study. We suggest Writing for Understanding.
