This course will incorporate several literacy strategies that all 6-12 grade teachers can use to get every kid thinking. You will use and create One Page Wonders (OPW) to teach content area reading. The course will be based on Harvey Daniels and Nancy Steinke’s book Text and Lessons for Content Area Reading. You will be required to purchase the book before the class begins. This could fulfill the literacy requirement. This course will start March 24^th and ends May 12th . You will be expected to use these strategies in your classrooms.
