Build My Future in SW MO School Registration
Build My Future is an event for high school students who are interested in, or thinking about, a career in the building-trades industry. After last year's virtual event due to COVID-19, we are planning an in-person event for this spring.
Employers and training providers will have hands-on activities in different areas of building trades for students to do to help them learn what is done on the job every day.
This is a FREE event for schools, but registration by March 11 is required. After March 11, please call 417-625-9914 for registration availability.
You will have two sessions to choose from: 9 to 11:30 a.m. or noon to 2:30 p.m. Lunch will not be provided, however, students will receive an event T-shirt, safety glasses and small bag to carry belongings.
Tech schools and sending schools: PLEASE coordinate before registering students to prevent double registrations.
Home-school students are encouraged to attend.
We will require ALL participants of the event, including teachers and staff, to bring a signed liability release before being allowed to interact with any of the activities. We also ask that instructors review safety information with students PRIOR to the day of the event.
