The Southwest Missouri Inclusion Award recognizes and honors a business or organization in Southwest Missouri that demonstrates outstanding performance of inclusion in the areas of recruiting, hiring and retaining employees as they relate to people with disabilities and other minority groups.  The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) partners strive to help individuals improve their skills and obtain and maintain employment.

NOMINATION CRITERIA

Businesses and organizations that are nominated may be contacted by a member of the selection committee prior to award selection to clarify or obtain additional information.

 

The award will be presented during the Inclusion Forum, scheduled for Oct. 2 at the Joplin Public Library.  Go to www.workforcezone.net for more information about the event.
