All of us have bucket lists and we use the less-than-perfect winter months to plan how we're going to spend those perfect spring, summer, and fall days on two wheels. If you're a rider looking for that next "big" adventure trip, have you considered riding one of the Backcountry Discovery Routes (BDRs)?
Originally, the BDR team documented trans-state off-road routes in the Western US. Based on rider demand, this all changed in 2017 when they introduced a route east of the Mississippi River (the Mid-Atlantic BDR). Last year was no exception, as the team put together the North East Backcountry Discovery Route (NEBDR).
Since its inception, the BDR organization has documented motorcycle treks for Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, New Mexico, Utah, Southern California, Nevada, Washington, and the US Mid-Atlantic. In addition to giving adventure riders an excuse to get lost in remote and rural areas, these routes have led to significant financial infusions to areas that have struggled to stay viable.
The movie premiere is a philanthropic effort to support the BDR organization's efforts. Want some inspiration or an excuse to better understand adventure motorcycling? Join us on Tuesday, March 3rd at the new David Minor Theater Speakeasy (1365 S Willamette St, Eugene, OR 97401) for the North East Backcountry Discovery Route (NEBDR) Movie Premiere.
Tickets are $15/person while they last. Seating is very limited, so you'll want to purchase your tickets ahead by clicking on the link below.
