Introduction to Early Intervention and Transitioning into Public School 

Ever wondered what services are provided through early intervention programs? This workshop will provide an intrduction to early intervention services. Then we will explore applications and assessments in the areas of occupational therapy and physical therapy to understand how we work to prepare children at an early age to be able to engage in the world around them. Finally, as a group, we will explore the connections between some of the assessment strategies used at this level, and our assessments at the pre-school and kindergarten level for physical abilities and movement.
