The Program Administration Scale (PAS) is a valid and reliable instrument designed to measure the leadership and management practices of early childhood programs. It is one of the tools used to measure quality in the Massachusetts QRIS.
In this 5-hour session, we will learn both specific content, organization, and how to measure the various indicators, and how to analyze the results to make improvements in program components. Using the actual book (copies provided), our goal will be to complete the majority of the items. Along the way, we will investigate the research behind Human Resources and Center Operations, Staff Orientation, and Family Engagement, among others. Using this tool should increase your awareness of your program’s challenges on the path to quality.
Participants will receive .5 CEU's for completion of the full day and workshop projects.
This event is supported through the Early Learning Challenge Grant and Northeastern Regional Readiness Center a EEC and EOE funded organization.
