Engineering Everywhere (EE) STE workshop for OST Middle School Staff
Engineering Everywhere (EE) is a free-to-download engineering curriculum designed for 6th-8th graders in out-of-school time programs. EE activities engage youths in globally-relevant engineering challenges that guide them to collaborate, think creatively, and solve problems. This workshop will provide participants with the experience and confidence to effectively lead EE and teach youths how to apply the Engineering Design Process as a problem solving tool.
By the end of the workshop, participants will:
- understand what it feels like to engineer
- have strategies for how to empower youths to use the engineering design process to solve problems
- feel prepared to lead Engineering Everywhere activities with youths
