Trauma-Informed Supervision is a model that uses tools to integrate the science of ACEs, neurobiology, and resilience into supervision. Participants will be encouraged to replicate and make use of the model with their organization’s teams and supervisors. The training will be facilitated by Joseph F. Foderaro, LCSW, Co-author and Director of S.E.L.F. Community Conversation.
This training is suggested for social workers, counselors, peer recovery specialists, other direct service staff, supervisors and administrators working in mental health, substance use disorders, and recovery support services.
This professional development opportunity is offered at no charge to providers, and registrants are also expected to participate in 3-4 telephonic coaching sessions to support implementation. The sessions will be the second Monday of the month from 1:30-2:30 pm.
6 CEUs will be provided for social workers and professional counselors and therapists.
Coffee and light snacks will be provided in the morning.
