BACS-So, You Want to be a Board Approved Clinical Supervisor with Parker Sternbergh, MHA, LCSW-BACS 

This workshop is designed to provide the participant with the required 6.5 hours of BACS training , one part of the process required to become a Board Approved Clinical Supervisor.

 The Learning objectives of the course are:

• Attendee will understand and apply the theory and techniques of supervision
• Attendee will understand and conceptualize the use of different supervision models
• Attendee will learn the process of supervision, record keeping and administration
• Attendee will learn how to effectively document a supervision work plan including goals, activities and outcomes
• Attendee will learn ethical frameworks for practicing supervision
• Attendee will learn methods of covering multicultural issues and diversity and developing supervisees with practical applications

Parker Sternbergh, MHA, LCSW-BACS

Parker Sternbergh, MHA, LCSW-BACS is the Director of the Porter Cason Institute and Center for Life Long Learning at the Tulane School of Social Work. She has been at Tulane since 2009. Ms. Sternbergh has worked in private clinical practice, agency and community macro settings.

There are various surface lots in close proximity to the school that you use if you would like. The Saratoga Parking Garage is the closest parking garage and is located at 111 S. Saratoga St. The daily rate for the garage is $8.
