Rescheduled! How does $10,000 to market your library sound? Impossible? NOT SO! With the leadership of Meghan McCorkell, Chief of Marketing, Communications & Strategy, Enoch Pratt Free Library in Baltimore has won EBSCO’s prestigious John Cotton Dana Library Public Award three years in a row. On Thursday, October 13, at 1 p.m., Meghan will join the NEFLIN Marketing Interest Group to share their award-winning entries and will answer questions on how your library can make this happen—and on anything else library marketing. With the applications coming open at the start of the year, this is the perfect time to start gathering your information or even mounting a campaign that could net you $10,000 for library marketing (multiple awards are given out each year, and you do NOT have to be a giant library to win one). Don’t miss this opportunity to talk with a wonderful library marketing leader!
Meghan McCorkell joined the Pratt Library as Marketing & Communications Director in January 2017. She guides the John Cotton Dana award-winning Marketing & Communications team as they work to ensure the citizens of Baltimore and Maryland know about the amazing resources and services the Pratt Library has to offer.
