This is a great workshop for teen and adult librarians who are eco-conscious and on a budget!
Upcycling is the art of recycling objects, by giving them a new purpose. Participants will learn to reuse items in great craft projects like turning old books and magazines into artwork and making t-shirts into book bags or aprons. You will also learn how to employ found material for urban gardening ideas. About 15 projects will be demonstrated.
No art or crafting experience needed! You just need the love of learning and reusing!
