OMD Class, May 14

Don’t miss an opportunity to fulfill the requirements for maintenance of your Virginia EMS physician endorsement. Current EMS regulations require attendance at two workshops over the course of each five year endorsement period. The Virginia Office of EMS, working with the Virginia Chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians (VACEP) for the provision of CME credit and workshop support, have several workshops scheduled in the near future. Registration prior to the workshop is not required, but is very helpful in planning for adequate space and refreshments for attendees – nobody will be turned away if they are able to attend one of the workshops without having pre-registered. Hour-for-hour CME credit will be provided through VACEP for conference attendees. Please contact VACEP for registration and specific location information.

This is a FREE session (Funding was made possible by a grant from the Virginia Office of Emergency Medical Services, Virginia Department of Health).

This class will cover new developments in patient care, rules and regulations, and EMS management for operational medical directors. The course will fulfill requirements for re-endorsement as an EMS agency operational medical director.
