About Mindfulness Meditation

Mindfulness Meditation is a simple, gentle, and effective mental training that is designed to bring the mind back to the present moment. Through training the 
brain in this way, we create a spacious and compassionate relationship with ourselves and our experience. Thirty years of medical research have demonstrated that this practice has significant benefits to both physical and emotional health and resilience.

Mindfulness Meditation is free from any particular faith or religious belief.  It empowers you to work consciously and systematically with your own stress, pain, illness, and the challenges of daily life.

About This Workshop
This is an experiential workshop that is designed to help you understand
what mindfulness and Mindfulness Meditation are, how they can be beneficial for you, and most importantly, how to practice mindfulness and Mindfulness Meditation.

Dr. Kate Partridge
Mindfulness Mediation practice has transformed my life in a gradual, gentle but very positive way. It has made me passionate about wanting to share the practice with others.

For the past 30 years, I have presented seminars and workshops to organizations of all kinds, from large corporations to small non-profit groups.

My focus has been to provide education and training in “surfing the stress wave”.  This means learning to  balance your nervous system so that you can be  resilient and thrive even while coping with challenging and stressful situations.  It involves the cultivation of , calm and grounded energy that promotes physical wellness, mental clarity and emotional peace.

In my private practice I focus on working with individual adults who are seeking  help with stress-related physical and emotional problems, anxiety, panic, depression and chronic pain.  The client and I work together within a Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioural and Psychotherapy approach.

I also offer Meditation Coaching, in person or by phone or Skype.

Course Fee
The cost of this workshop is $160.00. It must be paid in advance, either online through PayPal and/or a credit card, or by cheque sent through the mail.

This fee includes lunch, free parking, a meditation training CD and a workshop manual. 

Your Extended Health Insurance plan may cover some or all of the course.

100% Refund if cancellation occurs on or before Friday, October 30, 2015
50% Refund if cancellation occurs between Saturday DATE  and Thursday, November 12, 2015
