About Mindfulness Meditation
Mindfulness Meditation is a simple, gentle, and effective mental training that is designed to bring the mind back to the present moment. Through training the 
brain in this way, we create a spacious and compassionate relationship with ourselves and our experience. Thirty years of medical research have demonstrated that this practice has significant benefits to both physical and emotional health and resilience.

Mindfulness Meditation is free from any particular faith or religious belief.  It empowers you to work consciously and systematically with your own stress, pain, illness, and the challenges of daily life.

About This Course
This is an experiential course that is designed to help you clearly understand
what Mindfulness Meditation is, how to recognize stress and regulate it before
it causes problems, and how to establish the kind of regular daily meditation practice that research has demonstrated to be so beneficial for stress.
This is a psycho-educational course; it is not a form of group therapy.

About Dr. Kate Partridge
Mindfulness Mediation practice has transformed my life in a gradual, gentle but very positive way. It has made me passionate about wanting to share the practice with others.

For the past 30 years, I have presented seminars and workshops to organizations of all kinds, from large corporations to small non-profit groups.

My focus has been to provide education and training in “surfing the stress wave” – that is, learning to balance your nervous system so that you can thrive while experiencing the intense energy stirred up by challenging and stressful situations, and at the same time, having access to the your nervous system's capacity for calm, grounded energy that promotes physical wellness, mental clarity and emotional peace.

In my private practice I focus on working with individual adults who are seeking help with stress-related physical and emotional problems, anxiety, panic, depression and chronic pain.  The client and I work together within a Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioural and Psychotherapy approach.

Course Fee
The cost of this course (26+ hours in total) is $475.00. It must be paid in advance, either online through PayPal and/or a credit card, or by cheque sent through the mail.

Cancellation Policy
100% Refund if cancellation occurs on or before Friday October 3rd, 2014
50% Refund if cancellation occurs between Saturday October 4th and Tuesday October 14th, 2014
No Refund if cancellation occurs on or after Wednesday October 15th, 2014
