The Call to Compassion and Mission:

Pope Francis and the 21st Century Parish

On the threshold of Lent, we consider:

What is our next step in discipleship?

Join us for a day-long pre-Lenten retreat, as we explore Jesus’ call to all Christians to care for the needs and defend the rights of “the least of our brothers and sisters,” and discern what the call means in our own lives and our own parishes. Our retreat leader will be nationally-known speaker Jack Jezreel.

9:30am - 3:30pm. Suggested donation of $15 will cover the retreat, materials and lunch. Lunch will be pre-ordered, so please pay in advance:

Pay online here, or mail your check (payable to St. Louise Parish with "Jezreel retreat" on the memo line), to St. Louise Parish, 141 156th Ave SE, Bellevue, WA 98007.

Jack Jezreel, M.Div., is the Founder and  President of JustFaith Ministries, an organization dedicated to creating and supporting formation processes that inspire commitment to social ministry. He is a popular and well-traveled speaker and teacher, sometimes introduced as a "Johnny Appleseed" of the U.S. Church's social mission. In 2006, he received the prestigious Harry A. Fagan Award for his unique contribution to the Church's social mission. He lives in Louisville, Kentucky, with his wife, Maggie. They have three adult daughters.

Co-sponsored by your Missions Office of the Archdiocese of Seattle and St. Louise de Marillac Parish.
